Genetic Disorder: Color Blindness, Response

Today, countless of people in the world are color blind. Can you imagine what it is like? I know I can’t. Color blind is a permanent genetic disorder. This cannot be treated; sometimes the cataract could even be removed. Even though this would not kill anyone, it is so common throughout the United States. I think that it’s such a severe disorder. Also, males are more likely to receive this disease. Since this is a recessive allele, the males only have one X-chromosome while females have two. Therefore, the males will definitely have a higher percentage of being color blind. Lastly, I also think color blindness is just frustrating to deal with. I hope everyone who has this genetic disorder lives at ease.
