Solar cars still a way off

Now in days, I mean in the year 2009, technology has turned into a whole new generation. There are cell phones, iPods, computers, and even hybrid cars. Well, Toyota has developed a new solar powered car, the Prius. This was once a hybrid in it's second generation, but now, it's being turned into solar. There are solar panels at the top of this 5 seater car. They say the panel on top would power the ventilation system to cool the car easily, without any support from the engine. However, this Prius would come out in 2010. The japenese designer of Toyota, says that he has even bigger plans for solar energy in developing cars later in the future. In addition, this major project would take years. Also, being to power a car all from solar energy is a very high achieving goal, in my own opinion. All in all, this type of solar car is another step to renewable and natural energy that would not only stop global warming, but keep the environment on Earth clean and sanitary.
