Obama promises bold action on economy & Tackles a List of Sobering Challenges (Current Events)

As the inauguration began on January 20, 2009, Obama surprised many with a bold, inspiring speech as he officially became the 44th president of the United States of America.
First, Obama promises bold action to the economy. "Today, I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious, and there are many. But know this America...they will be met.", Obama said. This is saying that there are numerous severe problems that we face, but it would take a while, as they will be met. America is intended to move on to a new revolution. During Obama's term, America would change to a whole new country possibly with a strong economy. As you can see, President Obama promises to take strong and serious action to America.
Second, on the first day of office, Obama tackles a list of heartbreaking challenges. It's basically once you become president, you go straight to work and do whatever it takes to help others, especially those who are in need. "In announcing the steps aimed at greater government openness and accountability", Obama says with courage. He's trying to fix the countless problems in America, while finding solutions to solve the global warming crisis. In conclusion, in my own opinion, I think that President Obama is really taking pride in America to discover solutions to a list of challenges.
