High-Tech Glitter to Create Flexible Solar Panels

As technology expands rapidly around the world, there have been even more ideas/creations discovered that would help our planet. One of the best inventions ever made include using natural energy from our environment to create electricity, such as wind, hydro and solar power. The most common lies on most of our homes today, solar panels. Solar panels have millions of cells that collect and trap sunlight to produce energy, allowing us to power our homes. Well, now researchers found another to improve this discovery. Instead of immense, rigid panels there are now solar cells as small as "glitter" to produce mass amounts of energy. Scientists call this a "high-tech glitter." Also, mini cells are flexible-enabling someone to have it in a form of almost anything. Using this technology, these tiny solar cells can become a tremendous step of saving the environment. Even though there are just prototypes and pictures of examples so far, snowflake-like solar cells really do catch and trap light to lead to countless of possibilities. Just think of this as almost an alternate of fossil fuels, electricity and gas. Now you realize what science has brought to us, as these new petite solar cells are definitely the next step in technology as well as protecting the Earth.
